Careers / open continuously

Most software describes the world.
We are trying to make the world describable.

There is a chair in a warehouse somewhere and nothing in the system truly knows how tall it is. Multiply that by every physical object in commerce, manufacturing, healthcare, and logistics. That is the problem we work on.

01 / Why this is interesting

We are Building AI-Ready Digital Assets for the Intelligent Enterprise

The work

Build what comes next

We are creating the foundation for a future where AI understands every product. Join us in shaping a new category at the intersection of AI, 3D, and ecommerce.

The timing

Work on technology that matters

From generative AI models to intelligent digital twins, you’ll solve real-world challenges that impact how businesses operate and how customers discover products.

The culture

Make an outsized impact

At MetaZtech.ai, every engineer, designer, and innovator has a voice. Move fast, own meaningful projects, and help build technology used by some of the world’s largest enterprises.

An honest caveat before you spend fifteen minutes on this. We are small. Some of this work is repetitive because catalogues have thousands of SKUs and someone has to make the pipeline survive that. If you want a large team, a defined ladder, and a problem someone else has already scoped, we may be a frustrating place to work.

02 / Open roles

Open roles

These pipelines stay open because the work keeps arriving. If you are strong and we are not hiring in that exact week, we will tell you when we are.

3D Artist

Modelling, texturing, dimensional accuracy

More

What you would actually do

Build models that are correct before they are beautiful. Turn physical products into records that hold up when a machine queries them for a dimension.

  • Optimise for web (glTF / GLB) and iOS AR (USDZ) from one master.
  • Name materials as physical materials, not texture files.
  • Build for catalogues in the thousands, not hero renders in the ones.
  • Verify against the real object with measured references.

What we look for

  • A portfolio where something is clearly built to spec, not just to look good.
  • Comfort with topology discipline and polycount budgets.
  • Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance, or equivalent production fluency.

QA Artist

Dimensional verification, catalogue integrity

More

What you would actually do

Catch the model that lies. You are the last person between a wrong measurement and a customer receiving something that does not fit.

  • Verify geometry, scale, and materials against source specifications.
  • Review variant matrices for gaps and impossible combinations.
  • Check assets across web, AR, and agent endpoints.
  • Help evolve the QA checklist as standards move.

What we look for

  • An eye that finds the one wrong thing in a grid of forty.
  • Enough 3D fluency to explain why something is wrong, not just that it is.
  • Willingness to be the person who says no near a deadline.

Software Engineer - Frontend

Configurators, viewers, the audit tool

More

What you would actually do

Build interfaces for two audiences at once: humans who want to inspect a product and agents that want a queryable matrix behind it.

  • Build 3D configurators and viewers in the browser with real performance budgets.
  • Shape the agent-readiness audit tool and report flows.
  • Keep interfaces fast on mid-range mobile hardware.
  • Treat accessibility as a requirement, not a follow-up.

What we look for

  • Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and modern React experience.
  • Comfort with WebGL or a real appetite to learn it.
  • A profiling mindset before optimisation begins.

Software Engineer - Backend

The CMS, pipelines, protocol endpoints

More

What you would actually do

Build the canonical product record that publishes to feeds, markup, manifests, and agent endpoints without drifting.

  • Develop the 3D CMS, versioning, and governance layer.
  • Implement emerging protocols against one source of truth.
  • Maintain asset pipelines that process thousands of models without babysitting.
  • Improve the public audit crawler that scores other catalogues.

What we look for

  • Solid backend fundamentals in Node, Python, Go, or similar.
  • Strong data modelling instincts and schema design judgement.
  • Comfort turning specifications into production implementations.

Data Analyst

The Agentic Commerce Index

More

What you would actually do

Own the original dataset in this category and turn readiness scoring into a benchmark the market can cite and challenge.

  • Analyse readiness scores across sectors, categories, and catalogue sizes.
  • Design and defend the sampling methodology in public.
  • Find the counterintuitive result, then try to disprove it.
  • Write the index report and stand behind the numbers.

What we look for

  • SQL plus Python or R, with comfort around messy web data.
  • Statistical honesty and reproducible methods.
  • Writing ability strong enough to explain a finding clearly.

04 / Apply

Apply for an open role.

Not here for a job?

How legible is your catalogue?

Paste a URL. We will crawl it the way an agent would and send back a scored gap report.
